The Paolucci Group, a leader in the field of fine woodwork, makes custom-made wood products in the centre of Rome, perfect for interior design. The company was founded in 1937 by the brothers Antonio and Francesco Paolucci, who decided to change their traditional production from woodwork to the sale of wood and furniture products. However, it was in the immediate after-war period and in the years that followed that their patient work was repaid with a good business performance, thanks to the large number of potential customers in the historical centre, such as woodworkers, restorers, ebanists and craftsmans in general.

From the 1960s the business was run by Roberto Paolucci, who was able to combine the special skills of a small family business with the demand of a greatly expanded and developing market. The third generation is currently represented by Francesco Paolucci, whose job it is to add new product sectors such as ironware, fine arts and colouring to the traditional business, trying to meet the customers' requirements, always larger and more various.
