The Museum of Light is located in the centre, in a historic building between Piazza Venezia and Via delle Botteghe Oscure. The museum is spread over a 1000 m2 space in which light installations meet scientific and artistic inventions, giving life to a union between technology, artistic expression and visual perception. The visit is a 360-degree immersive experience: visitors are surrounded by light installations, optical effects, scientific explorations, all accompanied by an explanatory and educational apparatus. The exhibition itinerary is also enriched by the presence of numerous guides present in the rooms. During the course of the visit, you can draw with light, create a light installation and explore the secrets of the UV room.
The visit to the Museum of Light represents a fascinating and unmissable journey to discover the phenomenon of light, between history and new technologies: the route is designed to be suitable for all ages and begins with the birth of lighting up to the most recent discoveries. Inside the museum there is also a very interesting space dedicated to illusory optical effects.
The permanent exhibition is constantly evolving: from year to year, new objects are added to the existing collection which arouse the curiosity of visitors.
